Cottages are tucked away in delightful countryside close to the
heart of Sherwood Forest. Our guests can relax and enjoy the wonderful
views across our patchwork fields, complete with our pure white
Charolais cows and their calves during the summer months.
Nearly a mile from the nearest road, beyond the site of Jordan Castle,
and sheltered by Wellow Park Wood, it really is possible to ‘get
away from it all’ in this tranquil spot!
Jordan Castle Farm has been in our family for three generations
and is farmed in a traditional and environmentally friendly way.
Wellow is the archetypal English village, with 18th century brick
and pantile cottages nestling round the village green with its painted

In fact children dance around the maypole and the Wellow May Queen
is crowned on the late Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May each
year.
The village has two traditional country pubs which both serve food,
whilst riding stables and an 18 hole golf course are close by.
